Note to applicants:

The main UMMC campus and the Lakeland Medical Building are served by a well-water system which renders their operations unaffected by the current Jackson water status. There are UMMC locations outside those areas within the Jackson city limits that have been affected, and UMMC has taken steps to temporarily provide water to those clinical areas. While some residents and fellows living in Jackson have been affected, many residents and fellows live in surrounding areas that are not (Flowood, Ridgeland, Madison, etc.) and are on a separate water supply system. These communities offer affordable housing and are located within 20-30 min of the main campus.
